Porcelain Tiles
Despite the fragile appearance, porcelain as a kitchen tile is actually very durable and is resistant to scratches or chips because it is the one and the formation of material throughout. That said; it is prone crack when pressure from the sides is applied. This can happen at points where it meets wood, which can swell depending on moisture and heat levels. As a floor surface in a kitchen, it can be dangerous and slippy when wet.
